The ROBO-EKO AGV T1500 vehicle is designed as a transport platform for transporting loads inside as well as outside the halls, within a production facility or logistics or warehouse center.

Depending on the navigation and safety systems installed, it is capable of moving in areas where people or other vehicles are allowed. The vehicle has a modular design. It consists of 3 modules – two drive modules at the front and rear of the vehicle, and a middle transport platform. As standard, the middle platform is mounted with a lowered loading area, giving the possibility to transport 2 EURO pallets side by side. However, it is possible to reverse it by 180 degrees.              In this case, the loading area is increased by the area of the covers of both drive modules, giving the possibility to carry long loads.

Dedicated build

Modular construction gives the possibility to design the middle platform according to individual customer expectations, e.g. with dedicated handles, specific tooling or equipment. It is also possible to change its dimensions, such as lengthening, under individual customer expectations.

Depending on the size of the entire transport system, it is possible to individually configure the set:

  • With a battery changing station and battery storage, which provide fully automatic and fast replacement of batteries in the vehicle, reducing downtime to a few minutes. Such a solution gives virtually continuous operation. The decision as well as the replacement process itself is made based on battery status data and happens fully automatically without human intervention. During the exchange, the batteries are loaded via an elevator into a special battery storage, where the charging process takes place.

  • With dedicated hand trucks for manual battery replacement. In this case, human intervention is required, who, with the use of special carts, manually performs the replacement of batteries, which are then charged at a dedicated station using a charger.

  • With a charger connected directly to a socket in the vehicle. In this case, battery charging takes place in the vehicle and thus the vehicle remains immobile for the duration of battery charging.

There is also the possibility of installing selected navigation and security systems on the vehicle as needed. The vehicle also has the option of installing a gate-opening control system integrated with the local control system.

All details regarding the completeness of the AGV system are determined by mutual agreement during an on-site visit to the customer’s premises. The final price of the system implementation also depends on these arrangements.

Agility

The vehicle has both torsion axles, which gives it the ability to make very tight turns for the vehicle’s dimensions. The wheels have independent suspension built on the basis of transverse wishbones, which gives the vehicle the ability to move on terrain with uneven surfaces. The wheels used have a tread made of solid rubber with a diameter of about 400mm , providing very good grip as well as durability.
